Garraway Hotel

An ideal choice for the business and leisure visitor, the hotel is managed by descendants of James Garraway, a Scottish planter and businessman who settled in Dominica in the 1800s. In the 1840s, James Garraway was the first ‘man of colour’ to serve as President of Dominica.

Over the last two centuries, scions of the family have served in the legislature and in 1820 contributed to the building of the Anglican Church. Conference & Meeting Facilities

The Garraway Hotel offers modern air-conditioned conference room facilities guaranteed to ensure efficient and competent service. With seating capacity for 100 persons, the Main Conference Room can be used for workshops, meetings, weddings, press conferences, dances and lots more.

It is also equipped with television, video cassette player, flip chart easel, overhead projector with screen, public address system, direct dial telephone and dial-up internet service.

The 2nd floor Restaurant Terrace

This terrace is available for smaller meetings, media discussions and/or dining. With seating capacity for 40 persons you could not want a better choice for your intimate social events.

The ‘Balisier’ Restaurant

This restaurant comfortably seats 150 persons. On the second floor, it embraces a panoramic ocean view and is ideal for weddings, family reunions, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, holiday parties, high school and college graduation balls.

The 5th floor terrace

This terrace is perfect for small cocktail parties al fresco . A perfect and private venue for Guests to relax and enjoy our warm Caribbean sunshine.

Policy on children staying with parents:
Children 12 years and under stay free when accompanied by an adult. A maximum of two children stay free when accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy:
A one night deposit or a valid credit card with expiration date is required to guarantee reservations. Cancellations should be received 48 hours prior to arrival date for refund of deposit.
